Jean Pryor, L12913, was presented the Kenneth T. Scott Pipe Dreamer’s Award by FMCA national president Charlie Adcock during the annual membership meeting in West Springfield, Massachusetts. This award is given by the Governing Board to an individual who has demonstrated exceptionally worthy and beneficial service to the association and to motorhome owners. Ken Scott, L63, was FMCA’s first executive director and dedicated years to nurturing the association after its headquarters moved in 1965 from Hanson, Massachusetts, to its current location in Cincinnati, Ohio.
Jean joined FMCA in 1974. She served on the FMCA Executive Board, representing the Northeast Area. She also served on the Constitution and Bylaws Committee, including one year as chairman; the FMCA Review Council; the Membership/Member Services Committee; and the Nominating Committee, one year as chairman. Jean has volunteered in many other capacities over the years. She belongs to 10 FMCA chapters and serves as president and national director of one. She has referred more than 125 new members to the association.
