FMCA national president Jon Walker and his grandson, Jack Graham, along with FMCA national secretary Gaye Young, met author Al Hesselbart during the introduction of his new book, RV Capital Of The World: A Fun-Filled Indiana History. The event took place at the RV/MH Hall of Fame and Museum in Elkhart, Indiana, this past June.
Al Hesselbart is the retired former manager of the RV/MH Hall of Fame and Museum and a leading authority on the history of recreation vehicles. RV Capital Of The World focuses on the people and events that shaped northern Indiana into what it is today: the place where 80 percent of the United States’ RVs are made.
The 128-page paperback is published by The History Press and has more than 70 historical photos. It is available from online book retailers.
