Family Matters: Congratulations, Freedom Rollers!
Jerry Allen, Freedom Rollers RV Club president, gets ready to present each family with a memorable token during the chapter’s first anniversary rally.

This FMCA chapter is fairly new, and its members are passionate about having fun.

February 2023

The Freedom Rollers RV Club held their first anniversary celebration, with the theme “Dancing Under The Stars,” and what a time under the stars they had! This recently established FMCA chapter enjoyed the year and built a family of oneness and a fun environment. Their vision is to be a pre-eminent RV club that spreads joy as they go. The chapter has 59 percent participation of members with titles who are responsible for the makeup of fun activities to meet the vision. The club even has its own copyrighted poem and theme song.

This year they exceeded expectations, as witnessed by the many diverse people who have inquired about joining the club, along with the many who have complimented them along the way. It’s been a joy watching as they build an excellent environment that others have watched and called regarding their efforts.

A celebration was held with the ambience of an outdoor dance and stars shining from the beautiful skies. Each of the club’s RV members were awarded with appreciation tokens during the event. They have had special outings representing things such as love, giving, appreciation, fun, fundraisers, and arts and crafts.

The club held safety meetings covering tail-gunner procedures, as well as discussing and practicing what to do if a driver becomes incapacitated. Members spent both Mother’s Day and Father’s Day together, as well as other holidays. However, the representation of love for the marriage union was a special touch to demonstrate appreciation for their spouses.

Who knows what the future holds? Have fun, enjoy your toys, and stay safe!
