The 2023 election of FMCA National Officers will be held August 23, 2023, at FMCA’s 107th International Convention in Gillette, Wyoming.
After the February 15, 2023, deadline for candidates’ submissions to the Nominating Committee and after the interviews of the candidates and the Candidates’ Forum at the March 2023 convention in Perry, Georgia, two members submitted petitions signed by more than 50 voting members to run for national office. Those members are Curtis Coleman, F447048, nominated for national president, and Ken Carpenter, F312233, nominated for national treasurer. These two candidates have met the requirements of Policy and Procedure 2005, Executive Board Nominations and Elections.
According to the policy and procedure, the at-large nominations will be included with the slate recommended by the Nominating Committee and published on the ballot in alphabetical order by office. The resumes of the new candidates follow; the resumes of previously announced candidates appeared in the May 2023 issue. All resumes will be posted online at FMCA.com in the Governance section and included in the Governing Board booklet.
