During its meeting on August 23, 2023, FMCA’s Governing Board passed motions to amend the following FMCA Constitution Article: Article I, Name, Status, and Purposes. These changes are to allow FMCA to operate under an assumed business name for marketing purposes, and to shorten the Mission and Purpose Statements. The Governing Board also voted on Article VI, FMCA Numbered Identification Emblems. This change removes the description of the FMCA Emblem from the Constitution; however, it remains in the National Bylaws and policies and procedures.
FMCA members may vote for these proposals by mail or online — one vote per member number. Voting must be completed by December 31, 2023.
