Since 1995, members of this Family RV Association chapter have enjoyed RV travel, friendships, and backcountry trail riding.

In 2025, the 4-Wheelers chapter reached a milestone: its 30th anniversary. To celebrate, our active group held 15 events throughout the year in Arizona, California, Colorado, New Mexico, Oregon, Utah, and Washington. One of the biggest celebrations of the year occurred in St. George, Utah, from October 26 to November 1, 2025. The theme for this rally was ”Let the Good Times Roll.”
Great weather, delicious food, an upbeat atmosphere, and wonderful attendees made for another memorable fall rally. The host team spent countless hours planning a fun week. Our trail boss, along with a capable volunteer crew of trail leaders, tail-gunners, and navigators, made sure our backcountry trail rides were full of challenges and new discoveries.

Mike Neighbours, left, and Stan Wyman did some cutting up during the 4-Wheelers event.
A variety of games and activities took place through-out the week, including themed dress-up nights, a Halloween costume contest, a pet parade, and a cornhole tournament. These events helped to raise $1,842 for the Keep Our Trails Open grant program. Another $1,180 in donations were provided from a member’s card sales and card-making class. And $300 collected from an auction were donated to the Blue Ribbon Coalition, which fights to preserve recreational access to America’s public lands.
Informative classes educated us on safety and recovery, as well as batteries. Our guest speaker — Mike Neighbours, an International Area vice president — and his wife, Darlene, gave a presentation about the many benefits FRVA membership offers.
Delicious food and festive decorations were enjoyed all week long. Our main venue site, McArthur’s Temple View RV Resort, provided lunch and ice cream sundaes. We also feasted on meals from several other area restaurants, as well as two fabulous potlucks (one dessert, one dinner), a nacho bar, a chili/soup cook-off, and a full breakfast prior to the chapter’s executive board annual business meeting.
4-Wheelers gatherings and rallies need lots of volunteers. Thanks to all the organizers, food-getters, food preppers, servers, set-up and clean-up crews, and trail leaders who keep our activities running smoothly at every event. We look forward to another year of 4-wheeling fun, with an active 2026 schedule already being planned!
