Members of the Bay Travelers celebrated the chapter’s 25th anniversary at a rally from May 30 to June 2, 2019, at Massey’s Landing, an RV resort in Millsboro, Delaware.

Seventeen Bay Travelers members attended the rally. It was a great opportunity to get to meet Bill Mallory, FMCA national vice president, Eastern Area, and his wife, Garnetta, as well as Rob Hill, vice president of the Eastern Area’s central region; his wife, Donna; and their three grandchildren.

On behalf of FMCA, Bill presented the chapter with a certificate and check, which Bay Travelers president Teri Butson accepted. Another highlight was Brad Koshland introducing us to his fiancée, Donna Geibel.

The rally included lots of good food, socializing, and catching up on members’ lives. Activities included trips to the beach, pool, outlet stores, and restaurants. For breakfast, Teri made her special Morning Glory Baked Oatmeal, which everyone enjoyed.

Teri reminded everyone to do their part in recruiting new members. Something that may help — a new sign with the Bay Travelers logo and name — will be displayed at our rallies. Teri also distributed cards that show the chapter logo and contact information, and she encouraged us to hand them out to prospective members.

To make our anniversary even more special, each member and guest received a polo shirt that displays the Bay Travelers logo. A great time was had by all!
