STORYTELLER OVERLAND
26V566: Recalling certain 2026-2027 MODE and 2026 GXV HILTS vehicles equipped with certain MaxxAir N-Series Maxxfan rooftop ventilation fans. The printed circuit board may fail during certain operations and overheat.
Storyteller will inspect and replace the printed circuit board as necessary, free of charge. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed October 30, 2026. Owners may contact Storyteller customer service at 1-888-999-7442.
KIBBI, LLC
26V574: Recalling certain 2026-2027 Renegade Valencia, Verona, Vera Cruz, Vienna, Villagio, Verona LE, XL, Garage, Totter, Explorer TS, Explorer, and Classic recreational vehicles equipped with MaxxAir N-Series Maxxfan rooftop ventilation fans. The printed circuit board may fail during certain operations and overheat.
Dealers will inspect and replace the printed circuit board as necessary, free of charge. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed October 19, 2026. Owners may contact Airxcel’s customer service at 574-247-9235 or oemform@airxcel.com or Kibbi’s customer service at 1-574-966-0196.
FORD TRANSIT:
26V579: Recalling certain 2026-2027 Transit vehicles. The wireless seat belt reminder system (SBR) within the rear seat belt buckles may malfunction and fail to show a change in buckle status.
Dealers will inspect the rear seat belts and replace the wireless seat belt buckles, as necessary, free of charge. Interim letters, notifying owners of the safety risk, are expected to be mailed September 21, 2026. Additional letters will be sent once the remedy is available, anticipated in December 2026. Owners may contact Ford customer service at 1-866-436-7332. Ford’s number for this recall is 26S67. Vehicle Identification Numbers (VINs) involved in this recall became searchable on NHTSA.gov on September 10, 2026.
DAIMLER TRUCKS NORTH AMERICA, LLC
26V583: Recalling certain 2020-2023 Freightliner Cascadia and 2022 Western Star 49X vehicles previously repaired incorrectly under recall numbers 23V073 or 22V817. The brake modulator valves on the front axle may corrode and cause the vehicle to pull to one side during braking initiated by Electronic Stability Control (ESC) or Roll Stability Control (RSC).
Dealers will replace the brake modulator valves, free of charge. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed November 8, 2026. Owners may contact DTNA customer service at 1-800-547-0712. DTNA’s number for this recall is F1039. Vehicles repaired under the prior recalls will need the new repair completed.
