In 2016, Rick and Lynne Snyder, F485225, bought a new Vintage Cruiser, a travel trailer made by Gulf Stream Coach Inc. They use it to camp in wilderness areas. But in 2018, it served another purpose. During their move from Southern California to the northern part of the state, the Snyders had to be out of their old home a month before they closed on their new one. So, from late June to late July, Rick, Lynne, their dog, and their cat made the Vintage Cruiser their temporary home. “Needless to say, it was a bit crowded,” said Rick, who works from home. The challenges included a cat who had never lived indoors; a dog with anxiety issues; and Rick’s need for internet access so he could continue to work. Said Rick: “We did make the adjustment with the help of one another, and by keeping a positive attitude.”
