It is a little warm inside the motorhome, but not hot enough to run the air conditioner. The coach is a bit stuffy, but even with the windows open, there is barely a breeze. A faint aroma lingers from the fried onions we had with the burgers for lunch. Wow, here’s a great idea “” let’s turn on that high-volume vent fan the sales guy told us about when we bought the coach!
Sure enough, within seconds the fan blades are turning and fresh air begins to flow throughout the motorhome, evacuating several hundred cubic feet of air each minute. What a marvelous piece of equipment. It is quiet, energy-efficient “” using only a little 12-volt current “” and very effective. Sometimes the ceiling vent fan is the perfect solution.
Well, all of that might sound like a sales pitch. So be it! Personally, I am a believer. Our motorhome came equipped with two vent fans, but if it hadn’t, we surely would have had at least one installed. We use them a lot. If you are considering the addition or replacement of a vent fan, survey the features of these models currently on the market.
