Jarnuary 2020

When the California Coasters chapter held a rally in Coos Bay, Oregon, in September 2019, members visited Washed Ashore Gallery in Bandon, Oregon. Washed Ashore is a project of the nonprofit Artula Institute for Art and Environmental Education, which uses art to help raise awareness of plastic pollution. California Coasters members were photographed inside a replica of a whale skeleton, which was made from plastic bottles collected from beaches.
