People of all ages attended the Penn Coachmen chapter’s 50th anniversary rally.
Penn Coachmen members celebrated the chapter’s 50th anniversary during a rally held September 19 to 22, 2019, at Roxbury Holiness Camp in Orrstown, Pennsylvania.
The 73 attendees at this milestone event ranged in age from eight months to 93 years. Fund-raisers over the last few years helped to keep member costs to a minimum. In addition to active members, the rally was attended by past members; three FMCA national officers and spouses; guests; vendors; and entertainers. Bill Mallory, FMCA national vice president, Eastern Area, presented the anniversary certificate and check on behalf of FMCA.
The rally was filled with activity from start to finish, including live music and magic; educational and safety programs; vendor participation; a night at the races; dancing; storytelling; remembrances; fellowship; and, of course, food, food, and more food.
The chapter’s members are from New York, New Jersey, West Virginia, Virginia, Maryland, Delaware, and Pennsylvania, and the numbers continue to grow.
