When Elizabeth and Tony Castillo received the May/June 2025 issue of Family RVing, they noticed that the cover scene looked very much like the photo on the Christmas cards they sent in 2021.

Striking Resemblance

Having had a crack at the Family RVing cover in the past, we did a double take once we saw the cover of the May/June 2025 issue. It resembles our 2021 Christmas card, down to the scale, and the perspective of the photographer, including the tuft of grass. What a wonderful gift in our mailbox, and a gorgeous photo. Keep up the good work, all!

Closed Cafeteria

I really enjoyed your article about one of our favorite places to visit in Louisiana’s Cajun country [“Dip Your Toes in Bayou Teche,” July/August 2025]. However, there was one error in the article. Sadly, Victor’s Cafeteria is now permanently closed. We were so very disappointed when we visited in February, but family members decided not to carry on the tradition. So, visitors to New Iberia will not be able to experience the menu or the charm.

RPI’s Maintenance Session Open To All Motorized RVs

At their annual business meeting in May 2025, the Ramblin’ Pushers chapter of FRVA unanimously voted to open membership and attendance at their annual Maintenance Session (MS) to ALL motorized RVs. This means that any owner of a diesel or gas Class A, B, C, or Super C motorhome can attend the MS and learn about safely operating and maintaining their coach. The Maintenance Session is six days of interactive classes plus chassis and subject-specific roundtables on technical and RV lifestyle topics, including craft classes. Get your coach weighed and get routine engine and generator service at your full-hookup site.

The 2026 MS will be held in Goshen, Indiana, from May 1-8, 2026. For registration and other information, go to ramblinpushers.org. You won’t find a better value in RV education.
