Celebrating fun and friendships.

Members of FRVA’s Snake River Valley chapter gathered at Mountain Home RV Resort in Mountain Home, Idaho, to celebrate the 50th anniversary of our beloved group. Also attending were Northwest Area president Barbara Schleuse and her husband, Don. The rally took place August 5-8, 2025.
We spent time reconnecting with chapter members we had not seen in a while and met new members Larry and Kari Arave from Kuna, Idaho.
We met Larry and Kari this past July at the Chapter Fair held during FRVA’s Gillette, Wyoming, convention. They stopped by the Northwest Area display and asked for information. We told them about Snake River Valley’s 50th anniversary celebration and where it was being held. Since they live within an hour’s drive of the park, they decided to attend the rally. Chapter Fairs work.
We played “Pass the Trash,” a card game, and history repeated itself. Back in 2020, when Don Schleuse served as Northwest Area president, he visited the Snake River Valley chapter for our 45th anniversary celebration in Hagerman, Idaho. We played “Pass the Trash” then as well, and Don won. He is the chapter’s reigning champion of this game.
A fun time was had by all.
