RECALLS: 8/10/26

WINNEBAGO INDUSTIES, INC.

26V498: Fire Risk Warning, recalling certain 2024-2025 Ekko motorhomes. The touchscreen display may register unintended or phantom inputs and turn the generator on without the operator’s knowledge.

Owners are advised to park outside until the repair has been performed. Winnebago will release an over-the-air (OTA) software update, free of charge. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed August 24, 2026. Owners may contact Winnebago customer service at 1-641-585-6939 or 1-800-537-1885. Winnebago’s number for this recall is 208.

BRINKLEY RV

26V499: Recalling certain 2027 Model I trailers. The exterior ladder may not be properly secured to the support backer.

Dealers will inspect and reinstall the ladder as necessary, free of charge. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed August 7, 2026. Owners may contact Brinkley’s customer service at 1-574-501-4280. Brinkley’s number for this recall is REC-2603.

ESCAPE TRAILER INDUSTRIES LTD.

26V505: Recalling certain 2025-2026 Escape E13 F1 recreational trailers. Insufficient ventilation around the refrigerator may allow carbon monoxide to buildup inside the passenger cabin.

Dealers will install a ventilation fan and insulation, free of charge. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed August 4, 2026. Owners may contact Escape customer service at 1-855-703-1650.

FOREST RIVER, INC. 

26V503: Recalling certain 2027 Leprechaun and Freelander recreational vehicles. A battery posted mounted breaker may not be installed, leaving the power feed wire without overcurrent protection.

Dealers will install an overcurrent protection device, free of charge. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed August 3, 2026. Owners may contact Forest River customer service at 1-574-825-8602. Forest River’s number for this recall is 210-2085.
