Whether you’re a first-time buyer or a seasoned pro who has been RVing for years, the key to making any getaway special is selecting an RV, be it towable or motorized, with the layout and amenities that make your time away from home stress-free and relaxing.
According to a 2025 RV Industry Association survey, more than 8.1 million American households currently own an RV, with twice that number expressing a strong interest in purchasing one within the next five years. The survey also revealed that today’s RVers, with a median age between 35 and 54, spend about 30 days a year enjoying all the benefits the RV lifestyle brings.
“Travelers continue to choose RVing as a top travel option because of its affordability and ability to bring family and friends closer together,” said RVIA president and CEO Craig Kirby. “Our research shows that consumer interest in living an active outdoor lifestyle remains strong, and there are RVs available at every price point for consumers eager to get outdoors and recreate.”
Anyone who walked through RV dealer shows this past year could see that today’s RV industry is, as the RVIA demographic survey states, “undergoing a significant transformation intended to attract younger and more diverse buyers, evolving lifestyle needs, and increasing technological integration.”
If you’re among the millions of Americans who are thinking about buying a new RV this year, whether you’re a solo weekend camper, one with a family, an avid outdoors person, an escapist, or an adventure seeker, you’ll find dozens upon dozens of new brands and models on dealer lots that are worthy of attention. The RVs highlighted here are just a tiny tip of the 2026 RV iceberg of offerings.
