Owners Manual Info

I have a 2011 Sportscoach Pathfinder. Have you seen a specific year and model owners manual for this coach? All I have is a generic motorhome manual from Coachmen for all types of motorized RVs, and it is too general in its content.

I am assuming you already have contacted Coachmen and asked whether they have documentation specific to the Pathfinder. You might try posting something on the FMCA Forums at FMCA.com to see whether anyone with a similar motorhome has a manual specific to that model. You might already realize this, but individual components would have had their own owners manuals — for instance, the refrigerator, generator, etc.

Shore Power Monitor

In regard to the question by David Albrecht about 30-amp shore power monitoring (June 2014, page 18): Progressive Industries (www.progressiveindustries.net) sells a surge protector that has an ampere-monitoring accessory. The surge protector is easy to install; it connects in series in the shore line to monitor all the bad things that could happen with the shore line. A gauge displays the amps at any given moment. Units for 30-amp and 50-amp RVs are available. It’s a very nice device.
