During a recent rally, South Texas Renegades chapter members posed for a group photo at the world’s largest cedar rocking chair, the Star of Texas Rocker. It was built in 2003 by the owner of the Texas Hill Country Furniture and Mercantile, in Lipan, Texas, to attract motorists traveling by the store. The chair stands 25 feet 10.5 inches tall and 12 feet 7.37 inches wide, and weighs 5,672 pounds. As they say, “Everything is bigger in Texas!” — Phyllis Avella, F424750
